The Africa Research Institute was founded in 2007 to draw attention to ideas which have worked in Africa. We aim to support development and good governance, building on the dynamism in Africa today. We do this by looking for practical examples of achievement; by listening to the people who have created that success, often in adversity; and by communicating that experience to organisations, companies and policy makers.
